Okay, I’m a “Big Picture” kind of guy. In other words, I like to see all the details, from the start to the finish! When it comes to being proficient with the AcuGraph Dr. Larsen has created a simple progression that will help you become an “AcuGraph-Master.”
Like most electronic purchases, we have a conditioned need to “plug the thing in and watch it work!” We come by this tendency honestly…just think of how home appliances were marketed for the past 50 years.
Mastering the AcuGraph isn’t difficult as long as you take it step by step. So let’s take a minute and go over the 3 steps to learning how to maximize your investment.
Step #1 – Beginner
Watch the CD Tutorial that came with your AcuGraph and open up your manual!
Many of the basic questions we are asked every day could be answered by actually reading the manual. If you’ve lost your manual, we’ve posted it on the web along with a lot of other helpful links. You can find them on the following page:http://AcuResources/
AcuGraph Basics: Written tutorials to follow at your own pace. Some people prefer to read about a topic off line. Here you can print out just the topics you need!
AcuGraph Answers: Answers to the most common AcuGraph questions. This is where you’ll find answers to questions that others just like you have had. It’s our AcuGraph FAQ (frequently asked questions) page!
Video Tutorials: Get productive quickly with these brief tutorials. Organized into eight tidy topics for quick access and review.
AcuGraph Forum: Connect and share with other AcuGraph users. Search for problems, solutions, hints and ideas that other practitioners have experienced.
AcuGraph User Manual: If you somehow lost your manual, here’s a copy for you!
Step #2 – Intermediate
For the past 5 years I have worked with various health care practitioners. I consider myself well informed regarding the various equipment modalities used by most doctors. I have to humbly admit that I didn’t have a clue how complicated Meridian therapy can be! I needed help learning what the AcuGraph does and how it helps practitioners! One of the first things I did was watch every one of the 12 DVD’s in Dr. Larsen’s amazing Seminar series called Digital Meridian Analysis for Better Acupuncture Results.
This seminar series is a must have if it’s been years since you reviewed channel theory. It starts with a gradual review of the history of Ryodoraku acupuncture and progresses to an intermediate discussion of meridians and the science behind the AcuGraph. I highly recommend having this series in your library for you and your staff!
Step #3 – Advanced
This past January I had been with the company just 3 weeks and was in the middle of a VERY steep learning curve when I had the pleasure of ‘sitting in’ on Dr. Fratkin’s seminar. It didn’t take long for me to realize I was in WAY over my head! I did my best to follow what he was teaching, however, it was like listening to a Master Mechanic explain how to overhaul a transmission!
This is definitely an advanced course for practitioners. As an educated non-practitioner, I was impressed with Dr. Fratkin’s teaching style. It was organized, entertaining and quickly zeroed in on the critical issues as they were raised by the practitioners in attendance.
Since attending the seminar, I have talked with a few of the practitioners that were there. The consensus is that they are more thorough in their treatments since attending Dr. Fratkin’s seminar.
There you have it. Follow the training program through each of the 3 steps and you will be amazed at how effective you can be as you develop mastery of all the tools at your disposal.
